Filli Vanilli was quite an interesting episode. The pacing threw me off, as well as Pinkie's downright rude behavior, but I can't help but love it. The conflict was relateable and resolved in such a perfectly real way; however the implications are far more interesting: Fluttershy's willingness to be someone else, especially a man, might say a lot about her personal identity and further evidence to how easily she adopts different personas (eg in front of her animals / friends / strangers ). It is quite interesting.

Trans pony? TRANS PONY? What the hell is wrong with you. That episode had nothing to do with changes in sexuality. Fluttershy wasn't willing to be someone else. She was doing it for the group, and the animals, Remember that she likes to sing alone. So when she continued to sing alone, it got to her head and started to do some crazy dancing. The conflict was with her stage fright, not sexuality. She would've done the same thing if one of the female singers lost her voice. There was nothing wrong with her personal identity. Sexuality had nothing to do with, overcoming her stage fright was. First people believe she gender bended in this episode and "Bridle Gossip"; now we have idiots thinking she is transsexual? You are an enemy to Fluttershy.
